HomeDocs is designed to manage your property documents locally on your device. Your data is stored on your device and optionally synced to your private iCloud account. We do not sell your data and we do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Storage: Local database on your device (SwiftData). Optional sync to your private iCloud (CloudKit). No external servers controlled by us.
If you are signed in to iCloud, HomeDocs can sync your properties and documents to your private iCloud account. This allows access from multiple devices. Data remains in your Apple ID and is not accessible to us.
You can share a property with tenants via CloudKit sharing. When you generate an invitation link, the recipient can accept and view the shared property and its documents. Sharing is managed by Apple's CloudKit; we do not have access to shared content or participant information.
Photos permission is used only when you choose to import an image. Biometric data is processed on-device by Apple; we do not store or transmit it.
You can add documents by selecting a PDF or image from the Files app or from your photo library. Selected files are copied into the app's storage and, if iCloud sync is enabled, may sync to your iCloud. The app does not upload files to our servers.
Subscriptions are handled by Apple StoreKit. We do not receive your payment information. Product identifiers:
